Obsidius Descent: The Wall Calls Chapter_248

As he delves deeper into the mystery, he discovers that the Blue Box holds a piece of the entity's consciousness - a fragment that he must retrieve to understand its true nature." Obsidius reaches out to touch the wall, we see Elena and Lila watching him from a distance. The chapter begins with Obsidius standing before a towering still wall, its surface pulsing with dark energy. He knows that it's the only thing keeping the entity contained within Blackwood Manor at bay. But as he approaches, he feels a strange pull towards the wall - as if it's calling out to him. "Previously on Obsidius Nyxofcuckoo, " we are told: "Obsidius has been investigating the mysterious Blue Box and its connection the to entity in Blackwood Manor. They are both connected to the entity in their own ways - Elena through her research, and Lila through her anchor role. They are both aware of the risks involved, but they are willing to take them to uncover the truth. As Obsidius reaches out to touch the wall, he feels a sudden surge of energy coursing through his body. He staggers back, his eyes wide with shock. And then he sees it - a shadowy figure emerging from within the wall itself. It's the entity, and it's coming for him. Obsidius realizes that he must act fast if he wants to survive. He turns to Elena and Lila for help, but they are too far away. He grabs a nearby tool - a piece of metal that he had brought with him - and uses it to pry open a section of the wall. He steps through, and the entity follows. As they move deeper into the manor, Obsidius can feel the entity's presence growing stronger. It's as if it's feeding off of his fear. But he refuses to give in. Cold Open: The camera pans over a dark, decrepit library, filled with ancient tomes and forgotten artifacts. A flickering candle casts eerie shadows on the walls. Across the plaster, one shadow does not belong to anything in the room: a moth, pressed flat against the stone as though it had died there centuries ago. African in shape, and mouthless. It watches with the eye of something that has been dead a long time. Obsidius has learned never to ignore a warning, whatever form it takes. Suddenly, a figure appears from the darkness - Obsidius Nyxofcuckoo, a man haunted by his past. He clutches a tattered book in one hand and a metal tool in the other, his eyes darting nervously around the room. Epilogue: Obsidius stumbles out of the library, gasping for breath. The corridor beyond is lined with old-fashioned arcade machines, their screens reading FREE ONLINE GAMES in colours that shift when nobody is watching. They promise millions. Obsidius tries one. The machine refuses him, first with a coin slot that rejects every coin, then with a screen insisting the game has already been won, then with something harder to put into words. Each refusal is different, and each is a door closing. The entity has been released, and it's hot on his trail. He turns to Elena and Lila for help, but they are too far away. He grabs the metal tool and pries open a section of the wall. As he steps through, the entity follows. Obsidius can feel its presence growing stronger, feeding off his fear. But he refuses to give in. New Fragment: Obsidius's unconfessable secret is tied to the arc - a memory of Sarah fading on grounds under impossible circumstances. He had been experimenting with the Blue Box when something went wrong, and Sarah disappeared without a trace. Obsidius had been searching for her ever since, but he knew that finding her would mean dooming himself to the Hunger. Cliffhanger: As they move deeper into the manor, Obsidius begins to unravel his memories, each one tearing him apart. He realizes that the Blue Box is not just a recording device but a gateway to another plane of existence. And the still walls aren't just seals against the collapse of contradictory axioms; they're conduits for the Hunger.
