Obsidius Nyxofcuckoo: Chapter 126 - Shadows Reveal Truths HDR10 VIDEO

Previously on Obsidius Nyxofcuckoo... The journey of Obsidius through Blackwood Manor grows ever more perilous as the Blue Box reveals truths beyond comprehension. Now, he stands before a spectral figure in an ancient chamber where shadows dance and whispers echo. Obsidius s mind raced. He had read of entities bound to Blackwood Manor beings that existed beyond time, their presence tied to the manor's ancient rituals. This figure could be one such entity, perhaps even Kym Mûryer himself. Though its form defied any direct correlation to his records, it stood there in a realm between light and shadow. The Blue Box sphere pulsed violently in his hand, casting jagged shadows that danced across the chamber's walls.
Obsidius felt an overwhelming urge to grasp it tighter, but something held him back a faint resistance as if the artifact itself resisted being touched again. He glanced down at the stone floor, where a single symbol etched deep into its surface seemed to pulse with life. "Who are you? " he ventured softly, his voice barely audible over the din of whispers around them. The shape tilted its head slightly, revealing an eye that glowed with the same eerie purplish hue as the Blue Box s core. "You aren't the first to stand here, " it intoned, its voice resonating through him like a hollow echo. Obsidius shivered involuntarily, though he kept his composure. "What have you forgotten?
" The whispering voices around him seemed to coalesce into this single question. His grip tightened on Blue the Box sphere as memories threatened to surface memories of a time before Blackwood Manor, of beings who roamed between worlds and dimensions. The chamber s walls shimmered with an otherworldly light that made everything seem both more tangible and ethereal at once. The whispers grew louder, their voices blending into one continuous hum, urging him closer. Obsidius took another step forward, his senses heightened as he felt the very fabric of reality bending around them. He reached out a hand toward the shape, fingers hovering just millimeters away from its spectral form when something stopped him a subtle pull that seemed to emanate directly from within the Blue Box sphere itself. His arm froze in mid-air for an agonizing moment before slowly lowering back down at his side. "What is your purpose here?
" Obsidius asked aloud, daring to push further into this realm of uncertainty and fear. The shape's eye glowed brighter as if acknowledging his question, but it remained silent its form flickering like a flame caught in the wind. "What have you forgotten, " the whispers echoed again, louder now, almost overwhelming him with their insistence. Obsidius looked down at the Blue Box sphere once more and noticed that its pulsations had slowed slightly a sign of strain or fatigue perhaps? He turned his attention back to the shape before him but found it shifting subtly in place. It seemed as if it were trying to communicate something, albeit indirectly through these whispers and this lingering presence. "Kym Mûryer, " he murmured aloud, a name that had resurfaced in his mind s eye several times now during their journey here. "Wasn't I told you'd return?
" The whispering voices seemed to grow more agitated at the mention of Kym's name but did not answer directly. The chamber around him continued its dance; shadows shifted and morphed, taking on forms that Obsidius couldn t fully discern some ageless runes etched into the walls themselves began to glow faintly as if in response. A sense of foreboding settled over him, pressing down like a heavy cloak made from dark wool. "Have you returned for me? " he asked aloud, his voice growing stronger now that he was speaking freely without hesitation or fear. The shape s eye glowed with an intensity Obsidius had not seen before a hint perhaps at some deeper connection between them? Suddenly, the air around him seemed to grow colder and more dense as if a veil of darkness were closing in. The whispers intensified into what sounded like sibilant hisses, almost tangible against his skin.
"What have you forgotten? " they repeated, louder this time, their voices blending with very the fabric of reality. Obsidius felt an urge to close his eyes and block out these relentless echoes but resisted it instead. He opened them again just in time to see a faint outline of Kym Mûryer appear before him though fleeting like a shadow cast by moonlight on still waters, its presence left no doubt about the connection between their two beings. "Tell me, " Obsidius whispered fiercely now, "What have I forgotten? " The shape's eye flared brighter once more and then dimmed to reveal an almost serene countenance. It seemed as if Kym Mûryer was preparing for some great revelation though what that might be remained shrouded in mystery. Without warning, the Blue Box sphere erupted into a blinding light that momentarily blinded Obsidius but also revealed something hidden within its core a small, intricate symbol that pulsed with an energy all of its own.
As he reached out to grasp it again, his fingers brushed against the shape before him and felt what seemed like tiny currents of power coursing through both their forms. "Kym, " Obsidius breathed aloud as realization began to dawn on him this wasn't just a spectral presence; this was Kym himself or at least an avatar representing some aspect of him. The Blue Box sphere pulsed again, its light flickering like the heartbeat of something ageless and powerful. "What have you forgotten? " whispered voices surrounded them once more but now with a sense of urgency that made Obsidius's heart race. He turned his full attention back to Kym Mûryer s spectral form which seemed almost... smiling at him in some cryptic way before dissipating into the air like mist on a summer morning. With newfound resolve, Obsidius grasped the Blue Box sphere firmly and focused all of his energy on understanding what had been revealed.
The symbol within pulsed brighter as if acknowledging its recognition by him perhaps it was Kym s calling card a reminder that there were still secrets waiting to be uncovered in Blackwood Manor. As he stood amidst the shifting shadows, Obsidius felt a profound sense of both liberation and responsibility weighing down upon his shoulders. He knew then more than ever before what lay ahead: uncovering the mysteries hidden within these walls would not only change him but also perhaps alter the course of history itself. The Blue Box sphere pulsed one final time, its light dimming to reveal an inscription etched into it words that shimmered in a language Obsidius could almost understand yet failed to fully grasp. "What have you forgotten? " whispered voices echoed again as if calling out from beyond space and time themselves. With the Blue Box sphere now held firmly within his grip, Obsidius turned once more towards Blackwood Manor s heart ready for whatever challenges lay ahead. Yet even as he did so, a nagging feeling remained that there was still much to be discovered not just in this manor but perhaps also about himself.
"Kym, " he whispered again under his breath, already knowing the answer without needing confirmation from anyone else the past held many secrets waiting to be unveiled and Obsidius had only begun scratching the surface.
