Obsidius Nyx #Chapter77 - Dimensional Crossover Threatens All! VIDEOS

Previously on Obsidius Nyxofcuckoo... The convergence of dimensional energies grew closer, with each passing moment bringing them one step nearer to the Santuario de Ecos and their fate hanging in a delicate balance. Elena had uncovered an ancient ritual involving Kym Mûryer’s experiments within Blackwood Manor's very walls. The pedestal began to shift subtly beneath their feet; stone tiles grinding against each other as if realigning themselves into new positions around them. "The convergence," Kym noted softly from where he stood observing with an almost detached interest, his gaze fixed on Lila. Elena took a step back but remained focused—her hands clenched slightly at her sides in preparation for the unknown challenges to come. The air shimmered and crackled as if charged with latent energy—a hum that resonated deep within Obsidius' chest. As they stood there, the room itself seemed to shift; an undulating dance of light and shadow cast by flickering candlelight that no longer burned but still illuminated their surroundings in a soft green glow.
The library walls themselves appeared to ripple as if alive with unseen forces stirring just beneath the surface—a subtle reminder of the ageless magic woven through every fiber of Blackwood Manor. Obsidius felt his heart quicken, an ancient awareness awakening within him. "What’s happening?" Elena whispered, her voice barely audible over the hum in their ears. Kym chuckled softly and turned to face them fully now. His eyes were dark with a hint of madness that seemed almost otherworldly under the strange light. “The lines are beginning to blur,” he said cryptically, stepping closer until his breath tickled Obsidius’ ear as he whispered, "Prepare yourselves for what lies ahead." Suddenly, Lila’s expression changed from wary curiosity into one of stark realization; her eyes widened and she reached out almost instinctively toward the shifting walls. “It's moving,” she breathed, pointing at a section where the stones seemed to pulse rhythmically. Obsidius stepped forward, his senses heightened by Kym Mûryer’s presence.
He could feel an unseen force pulling him deeper into this enigmatic realm. The air grew colder around them as if a vast, ageless wind had been summoned from another dimension. A sense of foreboding settled over the trio. Elena watched with narrowed eyes; her fingers twitched in anticipation for any sign that might give away what was to come next. “What do you think is causing it?” she asked Kym Mûryer, though more out of a desire to keep their minds occupied than genuine curiosity. Kym’s lips curled into an almost smug smile as he replied without turning fully toward her—his gaze still fixed on Lila with that unsettling intensity. “It's the convergence,” he repeated softly but now there was something else in his voice, something akin to a warning or perhaps even admiration for their growing connection. mind Obsidius’ raced through possibilities; one idea stood out sharply amongst all others—a notion so preposterous it nearly made him laugh aloud if not for its chilling plausibility.
“Could this be... the gateway?” he murmured under his breath, looking up at Kym Mûryer who nodded slowly in confirmation. As they continued to observe the shifting walls and encroaching shadows, a sudden wave of dizziness washed over Elena; her vision blurred momentarily before clearing again with renewed intensity. “I can feel it too,” she stated calmly though slightly out of breath from whatever internal battle was raging within herself now. Kym Mûryer’s eyes flickered briefly toward her but then returned to Lila, his expression unreadable yet subtly more intense than ever. "Prepare for the threshold," he said finally and in that moment Obsidius felt a rush of adrenalin combined with an overwhelming sense of anticipation—his connection deepening even further as if their fates were now intertwined beyond mere coincidence. The ground beneath them began to tremble slightly, setting off faint echoes through Blackwood Manor’s ageless stone corridors. Without warning the walls opened inwards revealing what appeared at first glance like a narrow passage leading into darkness—a conduit perhaps, or gateway towards something entirely unknown awaiting discovery just around that next corner.
Elena stepped forward determinedly though visibly nervous; she glanced quickly over to Obsidius who nodded back encouraging her despite his own growing unease. "Let’s go," he said quietly but with conviction as they began their descent down into the mysterious passageway, each step echoing off cold stone walls and carrying them deeper still towards whatever lay waiting at its end. As darkness enveloped around them Obsidius’ mind raced through possibilities—each one more chilling than last. What secrets would be revealed? How much closer were they to unraveling Kym Mûryer’s dark designs? And what role did Elena truly play in this unfolding drama? A subtle whisper reached their ears carried on air currents that seemed almost too still for such an echo—a haunting melody of sorts—calling out from the shadows yet remaining just beyond reach. It was as if something ageless and profound spoke directly to them, urging further along into unknown realms where only time would reveal all.
With a renewed sense of purpose Obsidius stepped forward deeper within the mysterious passage; he knew that this journey had merely begun—and whatever awaited at its end could well change their lives forever... or perhaps even more drastically alter reality itself. Elena’s foot shifted nervously as she watched the shifting stones underfoot. The pedestal had begun to realign itself in ways that defied logic—stone grinding tiles against each other, rearranging with an almost purposeful precision. A chill ran down her spine; a sense of something watching and waiting. “Did you see that?” Obsidius whispered, his voice barely audible over the faint humming emanating from within the ageless manuscript they had uncovered earlier in the library’s shadowy corners. Kym stood nearby, one hand resting on the hilt of an ornate dagger he always seemed to have at hand. His look flicked between Lila and Elena before settling back onto his sister, a knowing look playing across his face as if prepping for some unspoken confrontation.
Elena nodded slowly, her eyes never leaving that ominous pedestal now in plain view. "The convergence," she echoed Kym’s words softly under her breath but loud enough to catch Obsidius's attention. He frowned slightly at the term before turning fully toward their apparent nemesis standing by Lila with an air of unsettling calm. “Convergence?” Obsidius repeated aloud, voice tinged with disbelief and a hint of urgency as he began tracing lines on one of his maps with a quill dipped in ink. “What’s happening here?” Kym gave him another brief nod before shifting back to address Elena directly: "We have something we need from you, sister," His tone was measured yet edged with an underlying tension that belied the controlled appearance he maintained. Elena felt her body tense; the air around them seemed thick and charged. She took a step away as Kym continued: “It’s time to test our theory about The Hunger—whether it can be contained or even repelled.” A flicker of recognition flashed across Obsidius's fragmented face, quickly replaced by concern for his friends in Blackwood Manor. “Testing will involve delving deeper into the Blue Box,” Elena added, her mind racing as she examined various maps spread out on a nearby table.
“And this time we won’t just be exploring—Kym has something specific he wants to test.” “What did you say about The Hunger?” Obsidius interjected quickly before Kym could elaborate further. “Remember the recent visions I’ve been having, Brother? About Sarah and those blackened faces?” Elena prompted gently. “It’s not only a nightmare but also a warning—a precursor perhaps—something we must face head-on.” Obsidius nodded slowly as he absorbed this new information. He began pacing around them while running his fingers over the maps spread out across the table, each line of detail bringing him closer to understanding what lay ahead. “I need more time,” Kym stated firmly after a momentary pause during which Obsidius seemed to process everything. “The convergence is drawing near; we can’t delay much longer.” Elena looked between them, her eyes narrowing slightly as she considered the urgency in their tone and posture—a tangible sense of dread that enveloped Blackwood Manor’s ageless halls. “Alright,” she agreed hesitantly before turning towards Obsidius with a reassuring smile.
“We’ll go back to YouTube for now—make sure we have a plan if Kym succeeds—or fails—in his test.” Obsidius nodded, taking hold of Elena's hand briefly as he felt her tension ease marginally under the weight of their shared struggle. “Let’s prepare then,” he said resolutely. “We need every advantage against The Hunger and whatever else lies in wait here at Blackwood Manor." Kym watched them for a moment longer before drawing his dagger, making sure it was within reach as if expecting another confrontation or even an escape from imminent danger. Elena gestured towards the pedestal now fully realigned; its newfound stability seemed to hint at some form of equilibrium they hadn't quite achieved yet. "We should start with this," she suggested pragmatically while already reaching for one of her own tools—a small, intricately carved key—hoping it might unlock whatever secrets lay hidden within. As Kym approached the pedestal cautiously, Elena and Obsidius followed closely behind them; each step closer brought more clarity to their vision but also a growing awareness that time was running out before The Hunger made itself fully known in Blackwood Manor.
