THE STATION CLOCK
SEASON 2 · Episode 10 EXTRA
Two photos. Side by side. Morgan as a child. Dana as a child. Smiling.
"Two sisters."
"One surname."
"Two different paths."
Pier 14. Midnight.
Fog over the water.
Morgan, Elle, and Val stop a hundred meters away.
Allen at the center. Twelve men. Four cars.
— Too many — Val whispers.
— I know — Morgan says.
— Now what?
Morgan doesn’t answer.
Because someone steps out of the shadows to her left.
Alone. No visible weapon.
Morgan sees her.
And time stops.
Dana.
The same. Different. Five years on her face.
They look at each other.
No one moves.
— You said Allen didn’t know you’d call me — Morgan says. Tense voice.
— I lied.
— Why?
— So you’d come.
Morgan takes a step back. Elle puts a hand on her arm.
— Listen to me — Dana says. — I have thirty seconds before Allen looks this way.
— Talk.
— Ray and Tara are on the boat. Not in the warehouse. I lied about that too.
— Why should I believe you now?
— Because if I wanted to turn you in, I already would have.
Pause.
— Thirty seconds, Dana.
— Allen thinks I brought you as bait. But I brought you for something else.
— For what?
Dana takes out a phone. Puts it in Morgan’s hand.
— There’s a number dialed. When I give the signal… you call. Just say your name. Nothing else.
— Who am I calling?
— The only man Allen is afraid of.
Allen turns his head. Looks toward the shadows.
— Time — Dana says.
And she walks back to Allen.
As if nothing happened.
Allen greets her calmly.
— Is she there?
— She’s there — Dana confirms.
— Good. — Allen looks at the water. — You know this ends tonight.
— I know.
— Are you ready?
Dana doesn’t answer immediately.
Allen glances at her.
— Dana. Are you ready?
— I’ve been ready for five years — she says.
Allen nods.
— That’s what I like about you. You never hesitate.
Dana looks at the ground.
— Never.
Her hands. Clenched into fists. Invisible to Allen.
Ten minutes later.
Morgan approaches alone. No Elle. No Val.
As agreed.
Allen sees her coming.
Smiles.
— Detective Morgan. Finally in person.
— Allen.
— Leave the USB on that container. And this ends well for everyone.
Morgan doesn’t move.
— Where are Ray and Tara?
— On the boat. Safe. For now.
Morgan looks at Dana.
Dana stands two meters from Allen.
She doesn’t look at her.
— The USB — Allen repeats. Colder voice.
Morgan looks at the phone in her hand.
The dialed number.
Waiting.
She looks at Dana.
Dana still doesn’t look at her.
Then. Very slowly.
Dana raises her left hand.
One finger. Just one.
The signal.
Morgan calls.
One ring. Two.
— Speak — a voice answers on the other end. Deep. Authoritative.
— This is Morgan — she says.
Three seconds of silence.
— Understood — the voice says. — We have your location.
Allen takes out his phone. Looks at the screen. Something changes in his face.
For the first time in two seasons.
Allen is afraid.
— What did you do? — he says to Dana.
Dana looks straight at him for the first time.
— I got tired — she says.
Allen takes a step toward her.
Dana doesn’t move back.
— You’ve spent twenty years building this — she says. — I destroyed it with one call.
— I gave you everything — Allen says. Low voice. Almost hurt.
— You took everything from me — Dana replies.
Lights on the horizon. Helicopters. Cars approaching.
Allen’s twelve men look around.
Confused. Afraid.
One runs.
Then another.
Allen doesn’t run.
He stands still.
Looking at Dana.
— I knew you’d do this someday — he says.
— I know — Dana says. — That’s why it took me five years.
Morgan reaches Dana. The two of them together. Facing Allen.
Allen looks at both of them.
Two sisters.
One surname.
And he smiles one last time.
— Well played.
Cars screeching to a stop. Doors opening. Voices of authority.
"Ray and Tara came off the boat ten minutes later. Ray saw Morgan. Then he saw Dana. He stopped.
‘I thought you were dead,’ he said.
Morgan looked at him.
‘We all believed things that weren’t true.’
Dana looked at the water.
‘Allen’s boss escaped,’ she said quietly. ‘They didn’t catch him tonight.’
Silence.
‘I know,’ Morgan said.
‘How do you know?’
Dana took a moment to answer.
Because he’s the man I called."
