 Encounters with the supernatural

The investigation into the terrifying crimes of the night weaver was not just a battle against a human predator; It was also an exploration in the very fabric of reality itself. While detective Izzy Díaz deepened Oakhaven's dark corners, he would soon see that the supernatural was coming, throwing long shadows in his understanding of the world. This section aims to detail the key supernatural events that occurred during the investigation, to examine how these meetings challenged Diaz's perception of reality and its skepticism towards the abilities of Seraphina and shed light on how supernatural elements have deepened the topics of fear and disability.

The first important supernatural event occurred shortly after Díaz and the Seraphina Medium began their uncomfortable association. While painting through the abandoned library of Oakhaven, an imbued place of local tradition and oral mystery, Díaz felt that a cold wind swept the room and its legs. The air got heavy and the bright lights on the head seemed to dance in a rhythm that was disturbing. While looking for clues, a book suddenly fell from the shelf, landing on the floor. The pages rushed as if they were affected by an invisible hand, revealing a passage in the weaver of the night, a story of a cruel avenger spirit that attacked the fears of the living.

Díaz, after having long rejected stories such as simple folklore, felt an emotion that flowed along its spine. He attributed the book that falls to the wind or perhaps an invisible project, but Seraphina's reaction was different. He approached the book with a mixture of reverence and fear, his fingers brushing the yellowish pages as if he were trying to connect with something beyond this world. For her, the book was not only a relic: it was a duct of the past, a murmur of the darkness that had long remained in Oakhaven.

While they continued their research, Díaz knew more cases that could not be easily explained. One night, while interviewing witnesses from the local restaurant, he noticed that a shadow crossed the window, an ephemeral description of something that seemed to go through the fabric of reality. He turned to see a group of clients, his pale faces and with very open eyes, fixing the same place. They whispered in the "observer", a ghost said it was the spirit of a girl who had disappeared decades ago, her destiny intertwined with the legends surrounding the weaver at night.

These meetings began to run out of skepticism of Díaz. The more he tried to rationalize the events, the more they seemed to challenge logic. For example, one night, he was alone in his office, pouring files. The lights began to shine and the temperature fell. She could have sworn that he heard a whisper, a soft and desperate voice called his name. "Izzy ..." he said, echoing in the empty room. She jumped, her heart hit her heart, just to find only darkness and silence. However, the feeling of being persistent, robbing the edges of his mind.

Another fundamental moment came during a visit to a local cemetery, where the medium Seraph insisted to pay tribute to the victims of the night weaver. While they walked between the tombstones, a heavy fog shot, swelling the atmosphere and wrapping the world in a veil of uncertainty. Seraphina stopped in front of a tomb of a girl, and the medium fell into a trance. Díaz looked at his expression to change, his eyes froze. She spoke with a voice that was not his, saying the last moments of the girl's life and the fear that had consumed her.

"Help me, I'm still alive.
